I used to draw all the time when I was a kid, staying busy for hours with nothing more than a sharp pencil, some paper, and my imagination. Now it seems the camera is what I use to chase that sense of wonder I had as a kid.
Each wedding is unique. Every couple has their own special dynamic and way of interacting. I endeavor to be attentive to the elements that build and shape an image while allowing the space (or setting the stage) to let a moment happen. It’s exciting to see little interactions in beautiful and artful ways. The crooked smile of a kid who just might be up to no good. The expression in a groom’s eyes looking at his bride like he’s the luckiest man in the world. Dozens of little moments that ripple through our lives. Moments that, when caught, remind us of how wonderful they really were.
